Batch Milk Pasteurizer

Batch Milk Pasteurizer

The Batch Milk Pasteurizer is an efficient and reliable solution for small to medium-scale dairy processing operations. Designed for the thermal treatment of milk, this system ensures the destruction of harmful microorganisms while preserving the natural taste and nutritional value. The pasteurizer operates by heating milk to a precise temperature and holding it for a set duration, followed by rapid cooling to maintain product quality and safety.

How Batch Pasteurization Works

Capacity

100 Liter To 5000 Liter

Heating

The batch pasteurizer uses a jacketed vessel (a tank with a space between the inner and outer walls) to heat the product.

Steam or Hot Water

Steam or hot water circulates in the jacket, heating the vessel walls, which in turn heats the product inside.

Holding

The heated product is held at a specific temperature for a set period, ensuring effective pasteurization.

Cooling

After the holding period, the product is quickly cooled to prevent further bacterial growth.

Emptying

The pasteurized product is then emptied from the vessel for further processing or packaging.

Applications in the Industry

Dairy Products

Batch pasteurizers are commonly used for pasteurizing milk, cream, and other dairy products.

Ice Cream Mixes

They are also used to heat and pasteurize ice cream mixes, allowing for the dissolution and blending of ingredients during the heating stage.

Juice and Beverages

Batch pasteurizers can be used for pasteurizing fruit juices and other beverages.

Specialized Applications

They can also be used for pasteurizing milk by-products (e.g., creams, chocolate) and special batches.
